When You Should Not Go For An Angled Shot In Doubles Tennis

 

Tennis enthusiasts, implementing your fundamental tactics in a match has to be instinctual. The only way it can be instinctual is if you practice like you play. Hitting the clean winner to a small area of the court is sooooo much fun! BUT it’s just not practical.

Low percentage shots = errors or simply empowers your opponents. In this 20 second clip the temptation of hitting a crosscourt angle winner to both opponents up at net proves the risk does not reward.
