Hey everyone!
If you have trouble volleying or if you are fearful of volleying here are 2 simple tips to work on. In general, recreational players have a tendency to drop their racquets–especially on low balls. This infraction leaves them very vulnerable and in many situations open to get hit.
Tip #1:
Invision yourself volleying like a boxer. If you keep your fists (racquet) up you won’t get hit.
Tip #2
Keep your racquet head next to your ear. This will ensure that your racquet head will stay up while you bend your knees to get down for the lower volleys.
All coaches say, “Keep your racquet head up”. But sometimes the simplest of visuals can make the difference.
And remember… you don’t have to be a pro to train like a pro!
