Strengthening your core is so much more than rock hard abs! Tennis players need a strong core for injury prevention, back support and overall stability on all strokes. Your core is not just your stomach muscles, its your back as well from neck to knees at the very least. Recreational players toil with injuries do to lack of training and poor stroke production so strengthening your core is just another way to help your overall game!
Try adding a core routine to your practice schedule 2 to 3 times a week and before you know it, you’ll feel significantly stronger!
