Do you ever feel when your volleying in a match that the ball is RIGHT AT YOU? Feeling cramped as though the ball is at your belly button?
Traditionally, we all teach and learn to volley with a step from the opposite foot and slight turn to generate some forward momentum. Unfortunately in a match under the heat of the gun we don’t have time to step and and hit this traditional stroke. Make a note that an open stance volley is the way to offset this problem. Keep the ball away from your body by hitting an open stance volley see the magic happen!
