Shot selection according to court position is the number 1 tactic to fend off unforced errors.

If you can focus on hitting the higher percentage shot from your court position you will cut your unforced errors in half!

In this clip the server had 2 choices after being pinned behind the baseline and the opponents are both at net.

1) Forehand up the middle
2) lob

He chose option 3 which in my book doesn’t exist. Inside out forehand down the line winner. Thus the error!
