With all the technical instruction and fast footwork drills these days, sometimes you just have to let your natural athleticism and instincts take over. If you’re an everyday recreational player, that doesn’t mean you don’t have good instincts or strong athletic moves. Of course you need solid foundation and fundamentals if you are new to the game, but at the end of the day you have to rely on your instincts and quick decision making.

Karaoke Slice Backhand:
As you step forward, back foot karaoke’s behind to create shoulder turn and a better contact point.

Scissor Kick Overhead:
Use your back leg to launch in up to create a boost to hit an overhead that is behind you. A great tool to retrieve a difficult lob.
