Singles Or Nothing #1: Tennis-Specific Training


With Tennis facilities opening with restrictions to singles only, it is even more vital to get your conditioning and footwork ready to cover the full court and 100% of the play. So many rec players have shied away from playing singles for many reasons, but since it’s the only game in town, why not embrace it.

My new series will focus on “Play Singles or Nothing”. It will help the everyday player transition from doubles to singles no matter what level or physical condition.

*In the meantime; the more you move off the court the faster you move on the court.*

28 minutes to Singles
Core: 8 Minutes: 3 Movements

1) 20 Swimmers
2) 10 PullBacks
3) 10 Oblique Crunches Each Side

WOD: 20 Minutes (Clock Running): 5 Movements: 50 Seconds Each

1) Burpees
2) Side Hurdles
3) In and Outs
4) Shuffle Shuttle
5) Groiners

Remember – you don’t have to be a pro to train like a pro!
