Hey everyone! Are you one of those players who starts slow in match play? Do you rush to the courts and deny yourself a decent warm up? Are you the player that either hates to train off the court or just can’t find the time?
In general recreational tennis players don’t warm up enough and don’t test their cardio capacity off the court. What they don’t realize is that performing just 3 minutes of the right exercise will not only help them warm up for their tennis match or practice that moment, but if done regularly, it can also help them start to anaerobically condition themselves for better tennis in the future.
Don’t be one on those players… Give this a try!
For 3 minutes:
1) 30 seconds slow
2) 20 seconds moderate
3) 10 seconds fast
4) Repeat two more times
This is great for a quick warm up before your match or practice.
And remember… you don’t have to be a pro to train like a pro!
